JUSTIN  WEATHERS

 

Hi, I’m Justin Weathers. I am the primary instructor for the Final Protective Line Academy. I am also a business owner, a veteran, and a husband. I have had a passion for shooting since I was old enough to physically pick up a rifle. That passion followed me throughout my 20-year career in the U.S. Army. As an Infantryman, my duty was training soldiers for battle, and leading them through some of the most intense combat situations imaginable. Throughout my career, I served in Airborne, light and mechanized infantry units. During the surge of Baghdad, Iraq, 2007-2008, I served as a Sniper Team Leader on a combat tour that would earn me both the Purple Heart and a Commendation Medal for Valor. In 2018, I retired from the U.S. Army, as a Sergeant First Class, after 20 years of faithful service to this great nation.

 

Today, I live in Colorado with my wonderful wife and I am enjoying my retirement. My wife and I enjoy traveling, hiking, but my personal passion still lays with shooting. I was an expert marksman throughout my career in the Army, I trained countless soldiers in marksmanship and combat tactics, and I can train you as well. In addition to the training and experience I gained during my career in the US Army, I have also trained with legendary firearm instructors Kyle Lamb, Jamie Caldwell, and Rob Leatham. I am also a certified NRA instructor in the disciplines of pistol, Personal Protection Inside the Home, and Personal Protection Outside the Home.

 

I started this business because I have decades of training and real-world experience that I want to share with my fellow citizens. I want you to be able to effectively defend yourselves and your families. I look forward to meeting you on the range, or in the classroom, and sharing the knowledge and skills that made me successful when it counted.
